Karamos Coffee Table

The Karamos Coffee Table is a striking expression of balance between circular forms and vertical details in interior architecture. Unlike traditional coffee tables built around solid, enclosed bodies, Karamos embraces circular geometry and an “open” structure, creating a sense of spaciousness and freedom within the room. The defining feature of this design is its four curved, cane-shaped legs, which extend beyond the edges of the tabletop and feature delicate carvings at their upper sections, seemingly embracing the round top. A wooden ring at the lower section not only reinforces the table’s stability but also creates a remarkable sense of visual symmetry, transforming Karamos into a calming focal point within the interior.

Handcrafted and Authentic

The refined execution of Karamos is the result of a harmonious combination of wood turning and wood carving:

• Symmetrical Carvings on the Capitals: Each of the four legs features hand-carved scroll and arabesque motifs at the upper connection point. These details make the table appear almost like an open flower when viewed from above.
• Uniform Curved Forms: Creating perfectly consistent curves in the legs and lower ring requires exceptional craftsmanship and precision in shaping the wood, ensuring that no irregularities appear throughout the circular structure.
• Professional Final Finishing: The tabletop is meticulously sanded and polished to achieve an exceptionally smooth and refined surface, allowing the natural grain of the wood to be displayed without any imperfections.

Premium Materials and Quality Standards

In Karamos, delicate craftsmanship is combined with the strength of premium-quality wood:

• Solid Turkish Beech Wood – Grade A-B: Premium-grade beech wood is used for the delicate curved legs, which are designed to support the large tabletop. Thanks to its dense and stable grain, this material helps prevent vibration and warping of the circular structure over time.
• Solid and Durable Top: The tabletop is constructed from strong layers of wood with a natural finish, providing excellent stability against humidity changes and the heat of serving dishes.
• Protective Color Finish: High-quality primers and a durable final coating protect the table from superficial scratches and everyday wear.

Interior Design Applications

Karamos is designed for spaces where warmth, intimacy, and gathering take center stage:

• Softening Angular Interiors: If your furniture features straight, modern lines, the rounded form of Karamos can soften the space and create a balanced visual composition.
• Ideal for Neoclassical Interiors: With its simple overall form and refined details, this table pairs beautifully with Queen Anne-style furniture and French sofas.
• Optimizing Circulation: The absence of sharp corners makes Karamos a safe and practical choice for homes with high-traffic living areas.

• Styling Consultation: Our specialists are available to recommend the ideal tabletop diameter based on the spacing and arrangement of your furniture.
