Como Coffee Table

The “Como” coffee table is a celebration of the power of simplicity and geometry. Its design moves away from conventional ornamentation to showcase the elegance of clean lines and precise angles. With a minimalist yet commanding aesthetic, Como features a classic rectangular frame supported by tapered, angular legs with an inverted-pyramid form. This design creates a strong sense of stability and permanence. The sharp, defined edges, combined with the distressed finish, give the table a distinctive character, as though it had emerged from a mid-century modern design atelier.

Handcrafted & Authentic

Como’s visual identity lies in the refined details that can only be achieved through skilled craftsmanship and meticulous hand finishing:

• Distressed Edge Finishing: One of the most distinctive features of this table is the artistic distressing applied to its edges and sharp corners. This technique, using a soot-patina or layered finish, allows the underlying wood tones to emerge in a controlled manner, adding depth, character, and authenticity to the piece.
• Hidden & Functional Drawer: A precisely crafted drawer is integrated into the body of the table, providing convenient storage for serving accessories, remote controls, and other essentials without disrupting the overall appearance. Its seamless alignment reflects the high level of woodworking craftsmanship at Bersini.
• Precision Mitered Joints: The corners of the table are joined with millimeter-level precision, ensuring uninterrupted lines and a seamless visual appearance throughout the structure.

Premium Materials & Quality Standards

Como is designed for customers who value structural quality as much as distinctive design:

• Solid Beech Wood, Grade AB: The main body and sturdy legs are crafted from premium Grade AB beech wood. Its high density helps prevent warping of the large rectangular tabletop over time.
• Superior Color & Finish: The dense grain of beech wood provides an excellent surface for achieving a high-quality matte black finish, helping minimize the appearance of fingerprints and stains.
• High-Quality Hardware: The drawer is equipped with smooth and quiet-running rails, ensuring that the user experience is as refined as the table’s appearance.

Application in Interior Design

Thanks to its neutral and sophisticated form, Como is a true chameleon in interior design:

• Ideal for Modern & Industrial Styles: This table pairs exceptionally well with leather sofas, exposed concrete, and metal accessories, creating a striking contemporary atmosphere.
• Creating Balance in Visually Rich Spaces: If your interior features patterned rugs or decorative wallpapers, the simplicity of Como can restore visual balance and prevent the space from feeling overwhelming.
• Suitable for Formal Living Areas: Its rectangular shape and generous surface provide ample space for elegant serving sets and decorative arrangements.
