Yuka Coffee Table

The “Yuka” coffee table strikes an exceptional balance between classic elegance and visual lightness. Its elongated oval form is designed to soften the sharp angles of its surroundings and create a smooth visual flow throughout the interior. Yuka’s distinctive feature is its intricate, openwork body, where solid panels are replaced by a series of graceful arabesque curves, allowing light and air to pass through the structure and preventing visual heaviness at the center of the room. The curved legs, connected by delicate crossed supports, complete the design with inspiration drawn from authentic European architecture.

Handcrafted & Authentic

Handcrafted artistry is evident in even the smallest details of Yuka, elevating it beyond a functional piece into a true collectible:

• Intricate Openwork Carving: The side structure of the table is delicately carved into an openwork design. This technique requires exceptional craftsmanship to maintain the structural strength of the wood while creating refined, delicate details, giving the table a three-dimensional, jewel-like appearance.
• Multi-Layered Warm-Tone Patina: The application of a light-and-shadow finishing technique beautifully emphasizes the depth of the carved details. The use of an aged, distressed color palette gives the piece a sense of heritage and the timeless character of a treasured family heirloom.
• Curved Leg Supports: The legs are connected through intersecting curved supports at the lower section of the table. In addition to enhancing stability, this structure creates a symmetrical and visually captivating geometric pattern from the side.

Premium Materials & Quality Standards

At Bersini, delicacy never means fragility. Yuka is crafted using premium-quality materials:

• Solid Beech Wood, Grade AB: High-density, premium-grade beech wood allows the delicate openwork carvings to remain durable for decades without the risk of cracking or breaking.
• Seamless & Polished Tabletop: The tabletop is meticulously finished so that the natural grain of the beech wood remains beautifully visible beneath the protective coating.
• Durable Protective Finish: High-quality paints and protective layers help safeguard both the carved structure and tabletop against humidity fluctuations and everyday impacts.

Application in Interior Design

Yuka is an intelligent choice for interiors that are both luxurious and inviting:

• Ideal for Fine Rugs: Thanks to its openwork body and elongated legs, the table allows the pattern and details of the rug beneath it to remain visible, preventing the center of the room from appearing visually crowded.
• Perfect for French & Classic Interiors: Yuka’s refined details pair beautifully with curved-back furniture, valance curtains, bright interiors, and rooms with high ceilings.
• A Focal Point for Spacious Living Rooms: Its large oval form makes it highly functional for 7- or 9-seat furniture arrangements, providing excellent coverage and accessibility.

Customization & Consultation

At Berssini Furniture House, Yuka can be recreated to complement your interior’s color palette:

• Custom Finishes & Colors: The table can be ordered in gold leaf, silver leaf, or classic wood tones such as hazelnut and dark walnut.
• Alternative Tabletop Options: Depending on your preference, a marble surface or beveled glass top can be added to the wooden structure for a distinctive and luxurious look.
