Rachel Console & Mirror

The Rachel Console and Mirror is an embodiment of the Neoclassical style with a modern, artistic lens. Its design is built upon clever contrasts: the tension between the sturdy vertical lines of the legs and the soft, circular form of the mirror. The mirror, with its minimal round frame, serves as a symbol of infinity and perfection, while an asymmetrical decorative floral motif on the left breaks the absolute simplicity to add an avant-garde flair. The console below, featuring a gently curved top, rests upon four columnar legs. This design is for those who seek classical grandeur but prefer to avoid excessive clutter, finding beauty in “simplicity.”

Exquisite Handcrafted Artistry

Rachel is a showcase of various woodworking and carving techniques, brought together with immense finesse.

• Carving & Woodturning: The console legs feature longitudinal fluting, reminiscent of ancient Roman columns. At the joints (knees), embossed floral and leaf carvings are meticulously executed, terminating in “Lion’s Paw” feet—a symbol of power and stability in classical furniture. The floral accent on the mirror is carved with such delicacy that it appears to have grown naturally from the wooden frame.
• Frame Joinery: At the base of the console, the legs are linked by wooden stretchers to each other and to a small central pillar. This design not only enhances visual appeal but also multiplies the structural integrity of the piece.

Premium Materials

The engineering of the Rachel console ensures it can support the weight of the top surface and the pressure exerted on its elegant legs.

• Wooden Structure (Grade AB Beechwood): The skeleton of this console is entirely crafted from Grade AB Turkish beechwood. Executing consistent fluting on the legs requires wood with straight fibers and no knots; Grade AB beech provides exactly that, allowing for clean, splinter-free grooves. Furthermore, the “Lion’s Paw” base, which transfers the entire weight to the floor, is highly resistant to pressure thanks to the wood’s high density.
• Top Surface & Mirror: The console top provides a polished, durable surface for arranging accessories. The mirror is “Super Clear” grade, offering an exceptionally sharp and transparent reflection.

Design & Placement

• Placement: Ideal for home entrances to create a powerful first impression, or for empty walls in the living room.
• Decor Style: This product acts as a bridge between classical and modern decor, shining brightly in Neoclassical, Transitional, and Empire styles.
• Layout: Thanks to the large round mirror, this console can reflect light in dim environments, making the space feel more open and airy.
