Lotus Side Table

The Lotus Side Table embodies the elegance of classic design in a refined, understated, and welcoming form. Its square tabletop features an artistic arrangement of wooden pieces that beautifully captures the interplay of light and shadow across the natural grain of the wood. The edges of the tabletop are delicately profiled and connected to a gracefully wave-shaped apron that surrounds the table.

The defining feature of the Lotus is its cabriole legs, inspired by the classic “S-scroll” form. These legs curve elegantly outward from the body and terminate in sturdy, sculptural feet. At the connection between the legs and the body, delicate relief carvings inspired by acanthus leaves and shell motifs add a refined touch, defining the table’s unmistakably classic character.

Handcrafted & Authentic

The Lotus is a showcase of traditional woodworking and fine woodcarving craftsmanship.

Carved Knee Detail

The floral carvings featured on the knees of the legs are not applied decorative pieces. They are carefully sculpted directly from the solid wood by skilled craftsmen using traditional carving tools. Creating such intricate three-dimensional details on naturally curved legs requires exceptional expertise in wood sculpture and carving.

Natural Finish & Refined Surface Treatment

Unlike fully covered finishes, this model preserves and highlights the natural character of the wood. A natural or whitewashed finish allows the grain to remain visible. This approach leaves no room for imperfections; the wood must undergo multiple stages of careful hand sanding to achieve a perfectly smooth surface and reveal the inherent beauty of its natural fibers.

Premium Materials & Quality

For products featuring tall and delicately curved legs, the quality of the wood is essential to ensuring stability and long-term durability.

Solid Beech Wood – Grade A-B

All components of the Lotus Side Table, from the tabletop to the curved legs, are crafted from Grade A-B Turkish beech wood.

• Strength in Curved Structures: Cabriole legs are subject to considerable pressure and stress due to their distinctive shape. The dense grain and long fibers of Grade A-B beech wood help prevent breakage and warping, even at the narrowest sections of the legs.
• Natural Beauty of the Wood Grain: Grade A-B wood is selected for its minimal knots and impurities. This ensures that when the table is finished in natural or light tones, the wood grain appears uniform, elegant, and luxurious.

Interior Design Applications

The Lotus creates a refined bridge between classic grandeur and luxurious rustic charm.

• Adding Warmth to the Space: The natural color and rich wood grain bring warmth to modern and neoclassical interiors. The table pairs beautifully with textured fabrics, linen, rustic woven textiles, and matte velvet upholstery.
• Versatile Functionality: With its practical dimensions and flat tabletop, the Lotus is ideal as a bedside table in classic bedrooms or as an end table positioned between armchairs or sofas in a living room.
